Maple Ave. Tops NoVa Mag's 50 Best List

Northern Virginia Magazine's 50 Best Restaurants issue is now online. First off, here's the top ten:

The full list is here. It's a big win for Maple Ave., which has only been open for a few years in Vienna (the owners also just opened Water & Wall in Ballston). Despite high-profile chef changes this year, both Patowmack Farm and The Ashby Inn were ranked highly. Here's the full breakdown of newcomers to the list (including Liberty Tavern, Ruz-Uz and Bistro Vivant), as well as others that were struck from the rankings (Bastille, Evening Star Cafe, Meaza). Critic Stefanie Gans explains only the top 10 were ranked in order this year.
