The place: Jack Rose
The gist: Jack Rose is converting al three of its floors into a Prohibition-era party. There will be burlesque dancers performing, cigar girls selling cigars, 30s-style snacks, historic whiskeys on draft, and more. The party runs from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. There are cocktail specials, and admission is free.

The place: The Hill Center's Repeal Day Ball
The gist: The DC Craft Bartender's Guild always throws a huge bash for Repeal Day - this one's scheduled for Saturday. Tickets are $100 ($150 VIP) for the black tie affair. There are cocktails from the city's prime mixologist, plus music and dancing.
