Andy Farrell to Lead City Tap House's Beer Program

Philadelphia's City Tap House is scheduled to open its D.C. location next Monday. Heading up the beer end of things is Andy Farrell.

Farrell spent seven years working as a chef in a variety of restaurants, including steakhouses and Italian places. As a beer director, he opened the Philly City Tap House, and was an operating partner at Bridgid's in Philadelphia (an early Belgian beer pioneer in that market).

The opening beer menu for City Tap House has been posted online. As promised, there are a mix of local beers, craft beers, standards and International choices, as well as two cask pours.
