1) Foggy Bottom: DC residents didn't have to wait long for longtime restaurateur Bob Kinkead to resurface. His new restaurant Ancora is now open for service within the Watergate complex, where Rivers used to be. Ancora specializes in Italian-influenced seafood dishes. The restaurant is opening at 5:30 for dinner this week, but its regular dinner hours will begin at 5 once they get in the swing of things. Lunch will be served from 11:30 to 2:30 p.m. and the restaurant is planning a menu of lighter fare between lunch and dinner service, according to a manager.
