Missy Frederick is the Cities Director for Eater.

In the age of celebrity chef branding and rapid expansion, it's becoming rare to find a successful restaurateur that devotes all of his or her time and energy to one location. So for this week's Open Thread, Eater wants to hear about those special places from chefs and restaurateurs that have never expanded beyond their original home base. For the sake of focusing on established places, let's stick to restaurants that have been open for at least three years. Share your favorites in the comments section, or drop a note to the always-open tipline.
