1) Georgetown: Dining Bisnow wrote about a few new Asian restaurants on the horizon. One is the next location of I-Thai, opening at 3003 M St. NW (this is the old Garrett's space). It will be a white tablecloth restaurant. [PLYWOOD]
2) Dupont Circle: Also in the works: Asia 54, opening in April at 2122 P St. NW. This restaurant will serve Thai food, Japanese dishes and sushi. [PLYWOOD]
3) Clarendon: La Tagliatella, the Spain-based Italian restaurant also opening in Gainesville, is now hiring staff for its restaurant in the former Restaurant 3 space. [PLYWOOD]
4) Pentagon City: Great Wraps, a fast-casual sandwich chain, is opening a location within Pentagon City mall. Patch spots signage for the new location. There's also one at Tysons Corner. [PLYWOOD]
5) Northeast DC: Rhode Island Row is getting a Sala Thai. WBJ spots a permit for construction of the restaurant's storefront at 2300 Washington Place NE, Unit 1065. [PLYWOOD]
