Kushi Vet to Open Yuzu in Bethesda This Spring

A former Kushi partner and chef is opening up his own place in Bethesda.

Bethesda Magazine reports that Yoshihisa Ota is opening a restaurant called Yuzu in the former Divino Lounge space at 7345-B Wisconsin Ave. Not unlike Kushi, Yuzu (named for the Japanese citrus fruit) will serve both sushi and robata-style grilled foods.

Ota, who cooked extensively in Tokyo before coming to D.C., plans to open the restaurant by April.
