1) Silver Spring: Scion, the Dupont Circle Asian-influenced restaurant, is expanding to Silver Spring. They've inked a lease at 1200 East West Highway, according to the area's neighborhood association. This restaurant will lean American, but feature a noodle and dumpling bar. A fall opening is planned. [PRE-PLYWOOD]

2) Courthouse: Sweet Leaf Cafe is coming to 2200 Wilson Blvd., according to ARLNOW. The salad and sandwich restaurant has another location in McLean. It's now taking over the former Hikaru sushi space; an opening date wasn't available. [PLYWOOD]

3) Adams Morgan: Forever Yogurt is opening in May at 1728 Columbia Road NW, WBJ reports. A spokesperson says locations are on the way for Georgetown, Dupont Circle, U Street and Verizon Center. [PLYWOOD]

4) Georgetown: In other frozen yogurt news, Sweet Frog is opening a location in upper Georgetown on Wisconsin Ave., according to the Georgetown Metropolitan. This is the end for that area's "dessert desert," he writes. [PLYWOOD]
