The Gryphon Serves Up Crawfish, Cubans Starting Tonight

New gastropub The Gryphon will unleash its pimento cheese-stuffed peppers and cajun crawfish mac and cheese starting at 9 p.m. this evening. And yes, that's a chandelier made of antlers hanging from the ceiling there.

The restaurant is designed to be an upscale sports bar, with chef Joseph Evans of Lost Society handling the menu. The Gryphon will have 31 televisions scattered throughut the restaurant, and offer a menu with bar food and both Asian and southern influences. The menu includes appetizers like Korean short rib tacos, a root beer marinated steak sandwich, a variety of sliders, entrees like crispy Scottish salmon and desserts such as a peanut butter and chocolate bread pudding.
