SOUTHWEST—DC doesn't have very many houseboats to brag about, but this one is one of the nicer ones to hit the listing service. It's back on the market for $324,000 and comes with all those creative boat ways to find storage space.

RENTALS—This week's Curbed Comparisons looked at places to rent for around $2,000 a month. Dupont, Union Station, Tysons, Stanton Park were on the list.

COLUMBIA HEIGHTS—We mapped the ten cheapest places on the market in CoHi and looked back at our list from last year to what sold, what stayed, and what gave up hope.

RACKED—The spring party at GANT was this week and a few local celebs made an appearance (Chris Pontius, Tommy McFly, and a certain chef from Bibiana to name a few). Click over for photos from the event and a few more items of retail news.

BETHESDA—There's a new contemporary mansion on the market with some stunning pictures to look at. A master bath bigger than most studio apartments is just the beginning.

UNDER 300K—This Petworth-ish unit is on the top floor with lots of light and is asking only $200K. It's large for the price and has low HOA fees.

CAPITOL HILL—Thinking of buying in Capitol Hill? We've put together a buyer's guide to what the neighborhood flavor is like and what types of houses there are to choose from.

GREAT FALLS—There's a pre-civil war home on the market that still has some of its original features like wooden beams and old fireplaces.

POTOMAC—The mansion that looks like a wedding cake finally found a buyer, two million shy of its ask but still around $5M.

HYATTSVILLE—Got an artistic side? This new apartment building has a communal art studio and most units are designed to have enough space for someone to paint/sculpt/dance (a little).

MAPS—The map of last month's home sales by zip code is back and this time four zips broke the million dollar mark.

CURBED UNIVERSITY—The new semester of Curbed U is cruising along and this week we looked at what to know before becoming a house flipper and the background on short sales.

PETWORTH—Sometime this spring a renovated 13-unit building will open up for buyers. Prices start in the 260s and we have the floorplans for people who want to start planning.

URBAN PLANNING—The push for more walkable communities is stronger than ever and this Monday there was a day-long conference on how to make it happen in DC. We have nine practical lessons from the keynote speech.
