Look's owner Michael Kosmides clearly spared no expense when it comes to lighting. The new restaurant and lounge, taking over the Teatro Goldoni space at 1909 K Street NW, is awash with color, including bright purples and teals. Look is not an Icelandic restaurant as was originally rumored, but takes many of its cues from Nordic design. The bar's food will be centered around globally inspired small plates (not unlike Kosmides' other place, Cities). The restaurant had its soft opening this week, and is planning a big opening bash on March 23.
