Adam Howard is Out at Room 11

Chef Adam Howard and Columbia Heights wine bar Room 11 have parted ways. Howard, a veteran of Bryan Voltaggio's Family Meal restaurant in Frederick, came to the Room 11 kitchen back in November. No word yet on his next move. Howard oversaw Room 11's menu as the restaurant expanded into bigger quarters.

In the meantime, former Room 11 chef Ben Gilligan, who stepped down in September, is back and supervising the kitchen in the interim, according to the restaurant's general manager. The restaurant is planning to find a new executive chef to replace Howard.
