Fans of tableside carving and American whiskey now have two destinations to try. The Georgetown Capella Hotel's new restaurant and bar, The Grill Room and Rye Bar, have opened their doors ahead of schedule. Expect a diverse menu from chef Jakob Esko at the Grill Room, which will draw on the cook's global experience. Meanwhile, Rye Bar features a hardcore ice program and a selection of hard-to-find rye whiskey brands. A grand opening is planned for early April. Status: Softly open. 1050 31st St. NW; website.
