panerainside.jpg1) Rosslyn: Panera has signed a lease for Rosslyn. ARLNOW shares the news that the fast-casual sandwich chain is going into the space where Tivoli used to be, right by the Rosslyn metro. [PRE-PLYWOOD]

2) Silver Spring: The La Madeleine location looking to open in Silver Spring on Georgia Ave. is hoping for a late March opening, according to Patch. The restaurant, part of the French bakery chain, is the fifth Maryland outpost. [POST-PLYWOOD]

3) Chevy Chase: Also targeting late March: Mi Cocina, which is taking over the former M Cafe space. Patch says that the restaurant will serve up standard Tex-Mex fare. [POST-PLYWOOD]

4) Capitol Hill: The Einstein Bagels is close to opening in Union Station, according to PoPville. Signage is up and the plywood is down. [POST-PLYWOOD]
