Snow at The Dubliner; Free Bubbly at Mari Vanna

CAPITOL HILL—The owners at The Dubliner are die-hard Syracuse fans, so naturally they are throwing a blow-out afterparty to celebrate the last Georgetown vs. Syracuse game as Big East rivals. Festivities start at 2 p.m. on Saturday, and unlike the Snowquester earlier this week, there is definitely going to be snow at this event. The bar rented snowmakers and is planning to put them out on the patio, along with two outdoor bars. Expect specials on Labatt for everyone enjoying the authentic Syracuse snow. [EaterWire]

PENN QUARTER— Going Out Gurus posted breakfast suggestions in Penn Quarter for college basketball fans who want to grab a bite before they take their seats at the Verizon Center for Saturday's game. Ideas include rashers and sausages at Fado Irish Pub or make-your-own bloody marys at Poste, both of which are open early for breakfast. [GoG]

CHEVY CHASE— NBC4 is running a video to accompany Tom Sietsema's review of Range, and yes, there is footage of the dessert cart in action. [NBC4]

DUPONT CIRCLE— So today is International Women's Day, and to celebrate, Mari Vanna is handing out one free glass of Champagne to every lady on the premises. The Russian eatery is also offering a special of Perrier-Jouët for $55, and for $85, order that same bottle with blinis, caviar, and two desserts. — Adele Chapin
