Red Apron's New Shop in Mosaic District Offers Craft Beer and Wine

New, 1 comment

Red Apron Butchery's second shop, slated to open this Sunday in the newly developed Mosaic District in Fairfax, Va., is offering more than meat.

An assortment of craft beer and wine will also be offered to pair the meat-centric dishes at this all-in-one butcher, market and restaurant. Pastrami on pumpernickle with red cabbage slaw and island dressing and a Cuban sandwich with roast pork, smoked ham, gruyere cheese, pickles, and pineapple mustard are the new additions to the sandwich menu. Market items include Gordy's pickles, denim aprons and cookbooks.

Four of Red Apron's hot dogs, which have been long-served by Frank, the Red Apron's hot dog cart at farmers markets, will also be sold at this storefront.

The new shop is massive — 1,800 square feet to be exact — and will open daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
