Atlas Brew Works may not yet have opened its Northeast D.C. brewery, but the local company did just get a distribution deal.
Atlas is going to partner with Premium Distributors, also based in D.C., to get its brews out to the public. That company will work to get the beer into stores and local restaurants.
Meanwhile, there's still some time before the brewery will debut its digs to the public. Originally gunning for spring, Atlas now says the facility will open sometime this summer. When it opens, three beers will be available: Rowdy, an American-style ale, District Common, which is made from Czech Saaz hops, and a third "surprise" brew. The brewery is bound for 2052 West Virginia Ave NE.
