Here now is the third and final special Eater Week burger, courtesy of restaurants which normally don't serve burgers on their menu. This one's from Bethesda's Assaggi Mozzarella Bar, known more for its cheeses and pastas. Chef and owner Domenico Cornacchia has fashioned a half pound lamb burger, topped with a young pecorino cheese and mint mayo, on a grilled potato bun. Both the lamb and the cheese are from Abruzzi, Italy, where the chef is from.

"I decided to feature a burger that came from my hometown which showcases my style of cooking," he said. The burger is served with parmesan truffle house fries; try one for $14 this week. And don't forget to stop at H &pizza, as well as Zengo, to try their Eater Burgers, too.
