Happy Hour at GBD; Rodney Henry to Food Network

DUPONT CIRCLE— If the hype hasn't been enough to convince you to give GBD a try, their new happy hour just might. It kicks off tonight and will take place Tuesday-Friday until 7 p.m. at the fried chicken and doughnut restaurant. There will always be a $3 punch, $3 glasses of red and white wine and a rotating selection of discounted beers. [EaterWire]

DOWNTOWNThe Occidental is launching a new power brunch just in time for patio season. Some of the dishes are a baked farm egg with truffle parmesan cream, biscuits and gravy and a North African Moroccan-spiced lamb stew. Bottomless Bloody Marys and mimosas are available for $18. [EaterWire]

LOGAN CIRCLEEl Centro D.F. has started serving lunch. There are a bunch of "for the table" sharing options to choose from, as well as salads, soups and dishes such as tacos and tortas. Lunch is served Monday through Friday from 11-3. [EaterWire]
