Half Street Market Updates, Preservation Grant Contest, First Look at the Glenstone's New Building

NAVY YARD—The Half Street Market proposal has been a hot topic as of late. There is a vacant warehouse at 49 L Street SE that a group of citizens and some elected officials are aiming to turn into a food market destination, among other things.

EVERYWHERE—The Congressional Cemetery, Marine Corps War Memorial, Meridian Hill Park and 21 more area sites are duking it out to try to win some some preservation grant money.

LOGAN CIRCLE—Sad news to those who were holding out for the return of that shady men's club in Logan Circle. It's about to be destroyed.

FBI HQ—What do you get when students from top tier universities propose redesigns of the J. Edgar Hoover Building? Numbers.

MARYLAND—Here is a first look at the new museum building at the Glenstone, expected to be completed in 2016.
