Virtue Feed & Grain Under New Management

Missy Frederick is the Cities Director for Eater.

Chef Cathal Armstrong of Eat Good Food, the company which operates such restaurants as Restaurant Eve and The Majestic, sent this statement to Tom Sietsema's chat today.

To All Our Loyal Patrons: Please be advised that Eat Good Food Group has transitioned the operation and management of Virtue Feed and Grain to 106 Union Dublin effective April 1, 2013. Eat Food Group thanks its loyal patrons and wishes Virtue Feed and Grain continued success as they both continue to service the Alexandria community in their respective ventures.

Eater heard talk of the potential change earlier this week but not yet received a response from Eat Good Food about why the transition was made and whether it will mean major changes to the restaurant. We've reached out to the general manager as well. 106 Union Dublin appears to be an Alexandria-based LLC.

Virtue Feed & Grain opened in Spring 2011; Meshelle Armstrong sat down with Eater last year to talk about the restaurant's first year in business. The restaurant and bar was known for its upscale pub food and creative cocktails, some involving beer.
