The Donovan House's rooftop was always a favorite spot during the summer, and now they've made it even more of a destination. The hotel, which is managed by Kimpton, just put $300,000 into revamping the space, with the help of designer GrizForm. There's going to be new seating and furniture, and a new menu to go with the changes — they're now calling the place DNV (for Donovan or "Damn Nice View," depending on who you ask). The patio will reopen in late May.
Visitors will be able to snack on Asian tapas from new chef Jennifer Nguyen, which means items like rock shrimp tempura, watermelon salad with blue crab and shumai dumplings. There will be a bunch of new cocktails including "Tea Lights," which use tea in their preparation and are served in mason jars. Plus, there's Pimm's Cup on tap. Drinks will be discounted at happy hour from 5-7 p.m.
