Fat Shorty's Starts Serving Alligator Sausages Tonight

Fat Shorty's will open its doors at 4 p.m. today, according to its Twitter account. The restaurant is a collaboration between restaurateur Aaron Gordon (Drafting Table) and Chef Rock Harper (Hell's Kitchen). The pair has transformed Gordon's former salad destination, Rabbit, into a new concept that specializes in sausages. Expect some unusual meats such as rattlesnake and alligator, as well as classic sausages. There's also beer and mussels. The full menu is here.
