Astro Doughnuts Opening Monday; Beau Thai Renovating

METRO CENTER— Holy doughnut invasion, Batman. Just on the heels of GBD's opening, a rep for Astro Doughnuts and Fried Chicken sends word that it will open Monday at 8 a.m. Get ready. [EaterWire]

SHAW— Beau Thai isn't content with simply expanding to a second location. The restaurant Tweets today that they're planning a bunch of improvements (paint, bathrooms and more) to the original location. [Twitter]

POTOMAC— Looks like a June opening at the earliest for the Attman's Deli opening in Potomac, Bethesda Magazine reports. The whole space ended up having to be gutted, which pushed back construction a bit. [BM]
