ROSSLYN— Restaurant-starved Rosslyn is getting a new bar. The Washington Business Journal shares the news that Baltimore-based Heavy Seas Alehouse will open up a location at 1501 Wilson Blvd., in the same building as the upcoming Tom Yum District. Expect an opening by the end of the year. [WBJ]
VARIOUS LOCATIONS— It's American Craft Beer week, and Gordon Biersch is offering a different special every day this week. Tonight, it's a pizza and a 21 oz beer for $10 at Happy Hour downtown, or a flatbread and a 21 oz beer for $10 for Happy Hour at the Navy Yard location. [EaterWire]
DOWNTOWN— Here's a heads up for vegans. Todd Gray's Muse at the Corcoran Gallery of Art has decided to offer a vegan brunch every Sunday at the cafe. It used to be a once per month thing. Recent menu items include Caramelized onion flatbread with black olives and rosemary, and potato and cheddar croquettes. [EaterWire]
