This may be the craziest spring restaurant season that D.C. has ever seen. In fact, it's been the opposite of last year's 30 Days of Terror, where restaurants kept closing and closing. Here's a rundown of all the major bars and restaurants that have opened so far this season (excluding some national chain expansions, etc.)— share any others in the comments. For reference, spring kicked off on March 20 this year, and will wrap up later in June.

Some trends to note: 14th Street restaurants, Navy Yard options, Merrifield places, pizza joints, coffee shops, local chains expanding and ambitious neighborhood restaurants all help account for the new offerings.
