FALLS CHURCH— Pizzeria Orso's been around for awhile now, but they're now launching brunch under chef Will Artley. That means menu items like a buttermilk biscuit board, a pepperoni-garnished Bloody Mary, breakfast pizzas and more. Also, one of the pizzas is named the "McLovin'" with cream, oregano, sausage, egg, mozzarella, fontina and chili flakes. [EaterWire]
NORTHEAST DC— Here's another brunch option coming this Saturday. Union Market is the latest to offer a gospel brunch in town. The Israel Baptist Church will be featured and a variety of vendors will offer brunch items. The brunch will be held on the first Saturday of every month. [EaterWire]
VARIOUS LOCATIONS— Some restaurants have their spin on dinner and a show, most notably when the chef cooks in full view of the diners. Washington City Paper has a roundup of the options, many of them pricey. [WCP]
PENN QUARTER— Del Campo is ready to start serving lunch. The South American restaurant will kick off its lunch program June 4, and it will be served Monday-Fridays. Look for menu items like the chivito sandwich, a grilled lobster and sweetbread roll and some selections from the dinner menu. [EaterWire]
