Update: The restaurant has since said it will reopen today.
Looks like D.C. may have lost one of its newest ramen joints. This message came from Taan Noodles' Twitter account today: "Taan is closed indefinitely."
Taan was not answering its phone this afternoon, and has not yet responded to an email. The Facebook page has not yet been updated with a similar announcement: a June 5 post advertised discounted Manhattans. Taan opened in October of last year, some months after Adams Morgan got its first ramen restaurant, Sakuramen.
Young & Hungry caught up with chef Jonathan Bisagni, who says he was fired and that the restaurant is changing its concept.
