Taan Noodles to Reopen Today with New Chef

Missy Frederick is the Cities Director for Eater.

Despite its chef Tweeting yesterday that the restaurant was finished, Taan Noodles' owner told the Washington City Paper last night that it will reopen with a new chef today. Chef Michael Than will replace Jonathan Bisagni. From the article:

Ouihman says Taan will be open as usual tomorrow and that sous chef Michael Than is taking over the kitchen. He says he never told Bisagni that the restaurant was closing or changing concepts. Ouihman previously ran Marrakech Lounge at the same address. Bisagni is sticking to his story, saying Ouihman "definitely" told him that Taan was finished.

Taan has still not responded directly to phone messages or emails from Eater. The restaurant Tweeted around 9 p.m. last night, "We are open for business tomorrow Tuesday at 4 pm. [The] chef is working on having more varieties of ramen noodles.exciting...". The restaurant opened last October.
