DGS and DC Brau to Partner; Great Lakes Event Tonight

DUPONT CIRCLE— Restaurant and brewery partnerships seem to be a new trend. DGS Delicatessen is collaborating with DC Brau on a new brew. Beer and slivovitz (a plum brandy that DGS makes in-house) is being combined to create a summer IPA. DGS will have a release party on June 27 to celebrate the new creation. [EaterWire]

PENN QUARTER— Tonight, Woodward Table is hosting Great Lakes Brewing Company. For $10, guests get a tasting of five beers and some appetizers. [EaterWire]

PENN QUARTERBoulevard Brewing Company is planning a tap takeover for June 27. They'll offer beers on seven draft lines at Iron Horse Taproom, starting at 6 pm., along with samples and discussion. [EaterWire]
