CURBED MAPS — Need a place to escape the traffic and concrete? We've mapped ten underrated green spaces in Washington D.C.

FAIRFAX COUNTY — An Alexandria mansion, River View Estate, is on the market for $25 million. What's crazier is that this mansion currently owned by Gerald Halpin and formerly owned by George Washington is only the third priciest listing in Fairfax County. There are actually two McLean mansions going for more and we have photos.

LOGAN CIRCLEThis landlord is really bitter that their former tenant held up the previous sale of this property. The opening line of the listing takes a jab at that tenant in all caps.

GLOVER PARK — The neighbors' complaints that private alcoves in JP's strip club would lead to a slippery slope of unseemly behavior have worked. When JP's re-opens, it will do so without the private alcoves or tabletop dancing.

ARTISTIC QUARTERS — We noticed that there are several new apartment complexes that boast places for artists to work and live. We checked the affordability of studio rental space in the area.

BALTIMORE — Due to the aforementioned high rent prices, Baltimore has been lifting people from D.C.'s artistic community for years. They'd love to charm other D.C. residents into living there with their new school openings and...cheesesteak?

U STREET — The Louis at 14th property isn't even finished yet, but it may have already changed hands. JBG has not yet given a statement as to why they sold the building.

ALEXANDRIA — We took our Real Estate Death Match across the Potomac to Alexandria this week. Which 1 bedroom condo do you prefer?
