Union Jack's Ballston to Close Next Week

One of Arlington's frat boy-friendly bars is saying goodbye. ARLNOW reports that Union Jack's will close its doors permanently on Monday. The restaurant had been temporarily closed by the health department earlier due to a lack of hot water. But a Union Jack's employee tells the website that broken equipment and slow business is causing a permanent shutter.

Union Jack's has operated alongside such bars as Rock Bottom Brewery in the Ballston Mall for more than four years. Its Bethesda location will remain open.
