A Look at DNV, Zentan's Sleek Rooftop Pool Lounge

Tea-based cocktails in jars, an extended bar and cabanas. Those are all fixtures of the renovated DNV rooftop pool lounge on the top of Donovan House, the Kimpton hotel that houses Asian restaurant Zentan downstairs. The space got a brand new look from local architecture firm GrizForm, with wood-paneled cabanas, a durable ipe wood deck and new lighting. Hotel guests can still use the pool until 5, but the pool shuts down after that, blocked by large lamps and decorated with flameless candles.

Guests can drink Josh Berner's cocktails such as the Porch Swing (pictured), with Basil Hayden's, orange bitters and black tea. Zentan's new chef Jennifer Nguyen has prepared a menu of Asian small plates to be served as well. The deck has now been open for about a week.
