1) Ballston: An electrical permit has been posted at 800 N. Glebe Road for work on Mussel Bar, which shows the latest addition to Robert Wiedmaier's empire is proceeding as planned. [PLYWOOD]
2) U Street: PoPville reports that the restaurant coming to 919 U St. NW won't be tacos; rather, it will be a German beer garden from the owners of Marvin et al. There will be German sausages and a restaurant built from shipping containers. A fall opening is planned. [PRE-PLYWOOD]
3) Tyson's Corner: The Bennigan's chain may have died out years ago, but it's coming back under new ownership. The restaurant group has been looking around in D.C. since early last year, and now this craigslist ad reveals that a Tysons Corner location will open in July. Looks like the address is 8201 Greensboro Drive. [POST-PLYWOOD]
