As the weather turns warmer (tropical storms notwithstanding), not only do many people want to avoid the kitchen or turning on the oven. They also prefer their food to be cold as well. Whether it's an ice cream cone, a raw dish like sushi, a papaya salad or a cold-cut sandwich, there are plenty of non-heated dishes in D.C. that stand out. For this week's Open Thread, the question is: What is Your Favorite Cold Dish in Washington? Share in the comments, or send a note to the always-open tipline.
