The 10 year anniversary of Minibar is just around the corner, and that means celebrity chef José Andrés is taking the opportunity to introduce a new dining experience within the exclusive tasting menu-centric restaurant. And it's geared toward those who can handle even more of a hit to their wallets than the restaurant's normal $225 price tag.

"José's Table" is being marketed as a private dining room within Minibar. Up to six people can be accommodated at the table, which will be positioned behind a white curtain. Those experiencing the tasting menu will get unique dishes such as salt-baked foie gras, roasted squab with white truffles, or the full Minibar tasting menu. The price tag? An even $3,000, which includes the menu, beverage pairings, tax and gratuity. Reservations can be made by emailing reserve@minibarbyjoseandres.com or via phone (202-638-0202).

Meanwhile, Minibar is switching to a seasonal reservations system. Requests for tables in fall or winter (September-February) will be accepted beginning today. Spring and summer reservations will be accepted beginning Feb. 15. Those looking to make a reservation must send an email with their preferred dates, size of party and requested seating time.
