New Menu at William Jeffrey's; Chef Geoff's Lawsuit

LOGAN CIRCLE— Young & Hungry has a preview of the soon-to-open M Cafe, the 14th street transplant of a former Chevy Chase restaurant. There will be plenty of wines by the glass, pastas and pizza, happy hour and more. [WCP]

ARLINGTONWilliam Jeffrey's Tavern has a new summer menu, with dishes like a smoked summer barbecue plate, miso-glazed salmon and Banh Mi sandwiches. The restaurant is currently being overseen by chef Sam Adkins. [EaterWire]

METRO CENTERChef Geoff Tracy (of Chef Geoff's fame, of course) is in a legal battle to keep his downtown restaurant at its current location. The Washington Business Journal says the landlord and the restaurateur are in a fight over whether the chef was allowed to renew his lease there. [WBJ]

GEORGETOWN— Mike Isabella-helmed restaurant Bandolero closed briefly over a failed health inspection. Best Bites Blog talked to owner Jonathan Umbel, who cites an ongoing landlord conflict as the source of the inspection. [Washingtonian]
