Nothing says party quite like cured meats. The Consorzio del Prosciutto di Parma's 50th anniversary festivities continue—and they're bringing the celebration to the District.

In honor of the milestone, two of DC's most talented chefs, Chef Marjorie Meek-Bradley of Ripple and Chef Sarah Biglan of Ris, are debuting special Prosciutto di Parma inspired menu items at their respective restaurants during the month of August. Ripple is featuring Prosciutto di Parma on their charcuterie and cheese list, as well as in a seasonal appetizer with corn bread, marinated squash and pickled nectarines. And Ris has crafted a menu featuring Prosciutto di Parma for the restaurant's August installments of Lunch and Supper Club. Insider tip: Lunch Club consists of a three course prosciutto-themed menu for $25.00, and the Supper Club menu includes carefully selected food and beverage pairings, priced accordingly. Ris is even serving prosciutto with dessert—don't miss out.
