FOOD MEDIAThe New York Times has a long profile of prolific D.C. restaurateur Ashok Bajaj. He tells the publication how hard it was to get a space for Bombay Club years ago. "Landlord after landlord rejected his proposal, more than one on the grounds that 'Indian restaurants smell'," the article reads. But Bajaj says, "I never gave up." [NYT]

Each course has several selections, including lamb tartare with cucumber and yogurt, lamb collar with sesame and eggplant and more. The deal is good August 26-31. [EaterWire]
