Eater readers learned last week that Atlas Brew Works, the city's fourth major brewery, would be making its debut in various locations throughout the city, beginning September 2. Now, Atlas has shared where beer fans can find them that week. Here's the schedule:
Monday: Meridian Pint
Tuesday: Pizzeria Paradiso (Georgetown location)
Wednesday: Big Hunt
Thursday: Iron Horse Tap Room
Friday: Churchkey
Saturday: Smith Commons
Sunday: The Black Squirrel/Libertine
Looks like a bunch of neighborhoods, from the Atlas District to Penn Quarter to Logan Circle, are covered. Specific festivities will depend on location, but beers will be available all night long. Brewers will be attending each event to talk about Atlas and the beers, most likely between 6:30 and 9 p.m., according to co-founder Justin Cox. The Sunday beers are being debuted during Adams Morgan Day from 1-6 p.m.
Atlas will debut three beers in its first weeks of operation: the Rowdy rye ale, the District Common and the NSFW surprise brew.
