1) Georgetown: ShopHouse opens its second D.C. location today at 2805 M St. NW. The restaurant follows the same model as sister restaurant Chipotle, where customers can customize their noodle and rice bowls according to their particular choice in sauce or protein. A third ShopHouse is on the way to Bethesda (another has opened in Los Angeles). Status: Opening at 11 a.m. 2805 M St. NW; website.
2) NoMa: Timothy Dean's TD Burger opens today, bringing burgers, pizza and another happy hour option to the neighborhood. Eater spoke with Dean last week, who said his burgers tend to have a higher fat content than many others out there — they're also served on a brioche bun. He's planning to expand the concept further (there's already a location in Largo). Status: Opening today 250 K St. NE; website.
3) 14th Street: Ted's Bulletin opens its second location today, bringing comfort food and pop tarts to 14th Street. Here's Eater's Plywood Tour of the space. Their plan is to really focus on breakfast, and they've got the bakery infrastructure to do so. The 160-seat restaurant is much larger than the original location. Status: Certified open. 1818 14th St. NW; website.
