Catoctin Creek's Distillery, WK Hearth, More Open

Missy Frederick is the Cities Director for Eater.

1) Purcellville: Catoctin Creek, local provider of gin and whiskey, has officially made its move to a larger facility in Purcellville. That means a bigger tasting room, bigger capacity and, the distillery hopes, more sales. They've started installing solar panels on the roof and did their first distilling in the new building on Wednesday. Status: Certified open. 120 West Main Street; Purcellville, Va.; website.

2) Purcellville: Also out in Loudoun County, the third location of The Wine Kitchen has opened. The Times-Mirror reports the restaurant has a different name than its sister restaurants in Frederick and Leesburg: WK Hearth. Status: Certified open. 130 Purcellville Gateway Drive Purcellville, VA; website.

3) Penn Quarter: A new location of Lime Fresh Mexican Grill has opened, PoPville reports. They're in the former Potbelly's space, serving up fast casual Mexican. Status: Certified open. 726 7th St. NW; website.
