The Draft at Drafting Table; Kushi's Cocktail Tap

14TH STREET— Free wings this Monday and Tuesday for fantasy football players at Drafting Table. The 14th Street restaurant is partnering with newly launched RotoSportsBook.com for a fantasy football extravaganza, which is kicking off with drafting times on Monday, September 2 at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. or Tuesday, September 3 at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. The plan is to host five to 10 fantasy football leagues with tons of prizes for league winners and specials for all fantasy football players, like free wings, half-priced beer and more every game day. Contact Drafting Table at (202) 621-7475 for more info. [EaterWire]

MT. VERNON SQUARE— There's a new cocktail on tap in town. Kushi will launch a forced-carbonated sake cocktail with Granny Smith apple juice, smoked plum wine, and Momokawa sake with fall spices like cinnamon, star anise, nutmeg, and clove. The restaurant is also adding alliterative specials like Maki Monday with half-price maki sushi and $5 draft beers, and Sake and Shellfish Sunday with half-price house sake, 50 cent oyster deals, and half-off peel and eat shrimp. CHINATOWN— Talk about a tie-in: the One Direction movie is opening tomorrow, and Nando's Peri-Peri is celebrating with special namesake menu items, like The Harry (a chicken breast wrap with pineapple) and The Louis (the half chicken and mashed potatoes). Apparently the British boy band-ers love Nandos, and the menu is what they ordered before a show in England. [EaterWire]
