Brickside Promotes Chef, Launches Brunch

Here's some chef news for the new-ish Brickside Food & Drink over in Bethesda: Lisa Marie Frantz has been brought on as executive sous chef. She will work under chef and co-owner Andrea Pace.

Frantz most recently worked with the Farmers Restaurant Group, opening Founding Farmers and reopening Farmers Fishers Bakers. She began working at Brickside earlier in the year but has just been promoted to the number two spot.

In her new role, Frantz is launching brunch at the restaurant, which will be served on Saturdays and Sundays beginning Aug. 24. Dishes on the new menu include breakfast flatbread, eggs benedict with artichoke-garlic chicken sausage, lemon ricotta pancakes and more.
