A speedy new lunch offering and a revamped building are coming to Fair Lakes restaurant Blue Iguana. The restaurant came under new ownership in June (hat tip to a Don Rockwell member, who noted the change), and Blue Iguana's David Clark tells Eater several changes have come with the switch.
"It's the dawn of a new era," Clark said via email. The restaurant just finished remodeling its building and there are plans to revamp the patio and outdoor seating, install a new A/V system and add some new decor. Chef Henry Hernandez is still supervising the menu, which features standard dishes like steak, lobster, seabass and sandwiches like banh mi and lobster rolls.
The Blue Iguana has a new lunch menu, and the food has to come out to customers in 12 minutes or less, or it's free. Staff at the restaurant remains the same, and there are still beer and wine dinners and Sunday brunch.
