It's Friday and it's time to hear from the crowd. Have something you want discussed among the fine Eater readers? Send it this way.

Last week's Open Thread asked readers to name their favorite local brew, with choices such as Port City's Porter and DC Brau's The Corruption getting shout-outs. So it only makes sense to turn our attention this week to wine. Wineries are a great summer weekend mini road trip, and there are plenty within easy driving distance from D.C. Some are notable for their actual wines; others are more of a tourism destination due to their scenic grounds. This week's Open Thread asks, "Which Virginia or Maryland Winery is Worth the Drive?" Share thoughts in the comments, or send a note to the always-open tipline.
