Bread Furst's Apprentices; Teddy's Lunchtime Raw Bar

FARRAGUTTeddy & the Bully Bar is launching a new raw bar at lunch. They'll have four types of oysters, as well as lobster and shrimp available. It all starts tomorrow. They're also planning to launch a carving station on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays next week, along with new lunch deals. [EaterWire]

VARIOUS LOCATIONS— Slow-Food DC has given out its annual Snail of Approval awards, recognizing those restaurants that live up to the organization's philosophy. VAN NESS— Restaurant incubator Nurish is teaming up with the upcoming Bread Furst on a new project. Translation: five would-be bakers will get the chance to learn the art of baking from Mark Furstenberg, as well as other business-related skills through the program.
