What? Okonomiyaki-style tater tots? Daikaya's upstairs izakaya has a new late night menu and it looks pretty addictive. The menu will be served from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday evenings, beginning this weekend. Some of the highlights include both donut and pop tart ice cream sandwiches, as well as a bunch of different styles of bao using Hawaiian kings bread. Varieties of the buns include fried chicken nugget bao, pork belly bao and fried horse mackerel bao. Tater tot purists can always try the okonomiyaki-style hash browns instead. The bar continues to serve cocktails until 2 a.m., after the kitchen closes.
