cesco.jpg1) Mount Vernon Triangle: Here's the next Le Pain Quotidien set to open downtown. The Triangle shares the news that the cafe is opening at 433 Massachusetts Ave NW; the lease was just signed. [PRE-PLYWOOD]

2) McPherson Square: The space at 1708 L Street, NW will soon be filled by Stonefish Grill. PoPville spots that they're hiring. Looks like a New Carrollton location may be coming as well. There is a restaurant already in Largo. [PLYWOOD]

3) Bethesda: The owner of Cesco Osteria is planning to change the restaurant's patio into a beer garden called La Piazza, according to Young & Hungry. Italian finger food will be on the menu. [POST-PLYWOOD]
