Daikaya's izakaya will kick off its lunch service next week, and the emphasis is rice bowls and lavash wraps. The Hawaiian cult favorite dish loco moco, a fried egg and rice concoction, also finds a place on the menu, which includes such options as tonkatsu with curry sauce, pork belly and fried egg with kimchee miso and a pork belly wrap. Lunch service is scheduled to begin Sept. 26, according to co-owner Daisuke Utagawa.
